Whether it is fixing a puncture on a children's bicycle, or preparing a track bike for competition use, we have the knowledge and experience to keep your bicycle in top condition .

We offer 4 levels of fixed price servicing, and in addition we can undertake any work as per our customer's requirements...

SAFETY Check - £15.00

This is our basic service, where we check all the key components and adjust accordingly. This service is ideal as a 'top up' if you are using your bike regularly, and is also useful if you have a big ride planned, or a children's bike about to be used for cycling proficiency testing.

BRONZE Service - £30.00

A bronze service means that we check and adjust all key components. In addition we undertake a FULL service of the gears and brakes. For hydraulic brakes, we check the fluid levels and for any leakages or wear. If your bike has been in storage for the winter and it is time to bring it out, then a bronze service is normally what would be required.

SILVER Service - £50.00

A fairly comprehensive check over of all components would be undertaken with adjustment where required. If you are using your bike regularly, then this is the service for you, to keep your bike well maintained and dependable. We recommend this service is undertaken every 3-9 months if you are using your bicycle frequently

Summary of what we will do:

• Inspect frame and forks for any damage
• Suspension forks inspected for any play and air level checked
• Rear shock inspected if applicable, checking for any wear
• Inspection & adjustment of the headset
• Bottom bracket inspected and adjusted if required
• We check the chain for wear and lubricate with chain lubricant
• All gear components checked for wear, adjusted, and lubricated
• Pedals inspected to ensure tight, and adjusted if required
• Gear and Brake Cables replaced and adjusted
• For hydraulic brakes we inspect the system for leaks and damage and check fluid levels
• Wheels checked for wear
• Wheels trued where required
• Hub bearings checked and adjusted if any play
• Check tyre pressures and inflate/deflate accordingly
• Tyre checked for wear and any potential punctures
• Test ride to ensure bicycle is ready for collection

GOLD Service - £75.00

The ultimate treat for your bike - The 'Works'! A comprehensive full service for the bicycle that is in frequent use, or has been neglected a little too long. Also for key competitions and races, a full strip down and re-assembly will ensure you hit the start line with your bike in the best possible condition. The rest is down to you.

Summary of what we will do:

• All the steps completed in the SILVER service schedule and...
• Bicycle completely stripped down
• All frame threads checked/chased/cleaned
• Disc mounts and Bottom bracket shell faced if required
• Bottom bracket removed and re-greased. Shell cleaned
• Full degrease and cleaning of the chain and refitting
• All gear components removed, cleaned, checked for wear
• If required we bleed the hydraulic brake system with new brake fluid
• Disassembly of hubs and inspection and re-greasing of bearings
• Test ride to ensure bicycle is ready for collection

INDIVIDUAL JOBS

Puncture Repair - £10.00 per wheel
We remove the wheel and inspect the tyre, rim and rim tape to identify the cause. We then fit a new inner tube to ensure the best repair possible. The tyre is then set to the correct pressure, and the old tube put in the rubber recycling box.

Wheel True - From £12.00 per wheel
We remove the wheel and inspect rim spokes, and hub to identify the cause. The hub may need adjusting to allow it to run freely in the wheel truing jig. The wheel is then trued if economically viable, and any damaged spokes replaced with high quality DT Swiss stainless steel spokes. Spokes are charged separately.

Wheel Build - From £25.00 per wheel
Your wheels will be hand built and the spokes checked for final tension. Price does not include spokes and nipples. We offer a range of spoke options from DT Swiss, from plain gauge to premium aero bladed spokes.

Adjust Gears - £6.00
All drive train fittings will be tightened. The existing cable will be lubricated and the gears adjusted with correct setting of the stop screws. If the cable inner or outer need replacing, this can be done, and the parts will be charged for. Any missing cable ends will be replaced free of charge.

Adjust Brakes - £6.00
All brake fittings will be tightened. The existing cable will be lubricated and the brake cable and brake pads adjusted . If the cable inner or outer need replacing, this can be done, and the parts will be charged for. Any missing cable ends will be replaced free of charge

Fit New Chain/Cassette - £8.00
Your old chain will be removed and disposed of. The freewheel, chain rings and rear derailleur will be given basic clean and then a new chain cut to length and fitted. We STRONGLY recommend the fitting of a new cassette/freewheel when you replace your chain to ensure safe and correct operation.

Full Gear Service - £15.00
We will remove, inspect and clean all drive train components. The cable will be lubricated and if necessary the inner cables replaced (Charged separately).

Full Brake Service - £15.00 (Cable Brakes)
We will remove, inspect and clean all brake components. The cable will be lubricated and if necessary the inner cables replaced (Charged separately). Brake pads will also be inspected for wear.

Hydraulic Brake Bleed - £15.00 Per Brake
The brake system will be inspected and fittings tightened correctly. The old hydraulic fluid will be removed and safely disposed of. Then the correct replacement fluid will be identified and installed and the brake bled until it is working correctly.

Headset Service - £15.00
We will remove the handlebar/stem assembly and inspect the headset and steerer assembly. The races will be degreased and the bearings replaced. New grease will be installed, and then the bike re-assembled and the headset correctly adjusted.

Bottom Bracket Service - £15.00
We will remove the crank and bottom bracket assembly and inspect the frame threads and clean them. The bottom bracket will be inspected, and the races will be degreased and the bearings replaced. New grease will be installed, and then the bike re-assembled and the bottom bracket correctly adjusted.

Fit Tubular Tyre - £10.00 per wheel
The old tubular will be removed and the seating surface cleaned. Tubular cement will be used to seat a new tubular tyre correctly and allowed to set before inflation to the correct pressure.

Fit Tyre - £6.00 per wheel
The old tyre will be removed and disposed of into our rubber recycling box. The new tyre will be fitted, and then the wheel re-assembled and gears/brakes checked as required. The rim tape will be checked for wear and re-seated as necessary.
